You'll lead an experienced Tool Room team, support high-volume automotive production, and have the resources and support to keep tooling performing at the level the operation demands. Long-standing stability in the Automotive industry Strong, established Tier 1 Manufacturing operation Continued Investment in tooling, equipment, and plant operations Opportunity to lead and develop an experienced Tool & Die Team High visibility with plant and senior leadership Long-term career opportunity with a company that values skilled trades and promotes from within What You'll Do Lead all Tool & Die activities supporting high-volume automotive production Manage Tool & Die Makers, machinists, apprentices, and Tool Room personnel Oversee die maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, refurbishment, and preventive maintenance Support new tooling builds, sampling, tryouts, validation, and production launches Drive fast, permanent solutions to tooling issues impacting downtime, quality, scrap, and throughput Partner closely with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality to keep operations running efficiently Manage outside tooling vendors, inventory, departmental spending, and capital projects Support APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, and automotive quality-system requirements Lead continuous improvement, 5S, TPM, and tooling reliability initiatives Develop the team through training, mentoring, succession planning, and hands-on technical leadership What We're Looking For 7+ years of progressive Tool & Die experience in a manufacturing environment Previous leadership or supervisory experience within a Tool Room Strong automotive stamping and production tooling background Hands-on knowledge of die troubleshooting, repair, modification, and preventive maintenance Experience with presses, blueprint reading, and related tooling processes Understanding of
APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, IATF
16949, and automotive quality requirements Bachelors Degree, Associate Degree, Tool & Die Apprenticeship, or Journeyman Certification preferred Why Make the Move? Because stability matters. $130,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
