Extrusion Technician Location:
Athens, TX Pay:
$16.56•$26.00 per hour
DOE Schedule:
Monday•Friday, 6:00 AM•2:30
PM Overtime:
Saturday overtime may be required based on production needs Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Extrusion Technician to join our team in Athens, TX. The ideal candidate will possess strong machine shop experience and the ability to build, repair, and maintain tooling and components using detailed blueprints and sketches. This role plays a critical part in supporting production operations through precision machining, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement efforts. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Build, repair, and maintain plastic injection molds and related components. Operate machine shop equipment with a high level of accuracy and precision. Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings. Apply knowledge of metallurgy and steel heat treatment processes. Plan work efficiently and utilize materials effectively to complete assignments on schedule. Collaborate with Production and Engineering teams to improve tooling designs and manufacturing processes. Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure quality and specification compliance. Create accurate sketches and documentation of existing components for repair or reproduction. Follow all safety procedures and quality standards. Why Join Our Team?
