City of Macomb Public Works - Wastewater Treatment Division The City of Macomb, Illinois, is hiring a Full-Time Wastewater Division Manager for the Public Works Department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the operation, maintenance, and regulatory compliance of the wastewater treatment plant, lift stations, and collection system.
• Supervise employees, assign and review work, provide training, and evaluate performance.
• Oversee wastewater testing, required records and reports, preventive maintenance, purchasing, and inventory.
• Assist with operating and capital budgets and coordinate system maintenance and repairs.
• Provide technical guidance to operators and respond to operational issues and public emergencies. Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Five years of wastewater treatment and collection experience.
• Five years of relevant supervisory or management experience.
• Valid Illinois Class 1 Wastewater Treatment Operator certification or equivalent.
• Strong leadership, communication, computer, and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant training and experience may substitute for certain requirements.
