THE ROLE
Manage and improve water & wastewater treatment processes with the goal of achieving continuous operation at 100% permit compliance. You will conduct daily documented review ofa ll water & wastewater treatment and monitoring processes. Reporting to the District Supervisor, you will collaborate daily with customers and account management to optimize equipment performance. You work for us on the customer's site daily.
Location:
Hampton, VA Schedule:
Rotating 10-hour shifts (6:00 AM - 4:00 PM) | 2-3-3-1-2-2 rotation over a 2-week cycle (Off Friday, Saturday, and Sunday one week, work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday the following week)
Environment:
Industrial process water only ( No sanitary waste ) in a heavy industrial manufacturing facility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
System Operations:
Monitor water treatment technologies (clarifier, filter press, batch treatment system, media filtration, closed and open loop cooling systems), conduct operator rounds, and respond to system alarms.
Maintenance & Testing:
Perform preventive/corrective maintenance utilizing hte customer's work order system. Maintain treatment systems, change/clean filters, maintain clearn and orderly work area, collect and analyze water samples.
Logistics & Safety:
Monitor checmial usage and inventory, replace chemical containers and filters as needed, record sysetm data, and maintain a clearn, safe work environment dawning proper PPE at all times for all tasks.
Customer Support:
Provide professional, solutions-focused service to our on-site clients.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Core Skills:
Ability to work autonomously, follow precise instructions, and troubleshoot technical issues.
Logistics:
Reliable commute to the Hampton, VA site and flexibility to occasionally support after-hours needs. Preferred Experience (High Plus) Industrial setting or customer-facing experience. Mechanical aptitude or familiarity with fluid handling, electrical controls, boilers, or cooling towers. Experience handling chemicals/corrosives and knowledge of water sampling procedures.
