Sanitation Supervisor

Job Description

Sanitation Supervisor We are seeking an experienced Sanitation Supervisor to lead plant sanitation operations and ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and employee safety standards. This position will oversee the sanitation team, maintain sanitation programs, and work closely with Quality and Production to support safe and efficient manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities Lead, train, schedule, and develop sanitation employees Manage daily sanitation activities and the Master Sanitation Schedule Ensure equipment and production areas are properly cleaned and sanitized Maintain and update sanitation procedures, SSOPs, and required documentation Partner with Quality and Production on allergen cleaning, food safety, and plant readiness Manage sanitation chemicals, supplies, inventory, and department spending Ensure compliance with PPE, Lockout/Tagout, chemical safety, and SDS requirements Support customer, company, and third-party audits Assist with pest control programs and corrective actions Drive continuous improvement, accountability, and strong sanitation standards throughout the facility Qualifications 3+ years of sanitation program experience preferred 3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred Food manufacturing experience strongly preferred Knowledge of FDA, GFSI, GMP, and food safety requirements HACCP and/or PCQI certification preferred Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Experience managing budgets and sanitation supplies preferred Proficiency with
Microsoft Office Pay:
$80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
