Job Description

Header Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic fabrication team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction projects, utilizing advanced welding techniques and fabrication skills. The ideal candidate will bring a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent blueprint reading abilities, and hands-on experience with various welding processes. Your expertise will contribute to the creation and assembly of high-quality metal structures, ensuring safety, precision, and durability in every project. Duties Interpret detailed mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and ASME codes to accurately guide fabrication and welding tasks. Perform a variety of welding techniques including MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) in accordance with AWS (American Welding Society) standards. Fabricate metal components using hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, and machining equipment to meet project specifications. Measure materials precisely with calipers, micrometers, measuring instruments, and shop math to ensure accurate cuts and welds. Assemble fabricated parts on construction sites or in shop environments, adhering to safety protocols and quality standards. Use construction site experience to coordinate with project managers and other trades for seamless project execution. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety procedures related to welding, fabrication shop practices, and construction sites. Qualifications Proven experience in metal fabrication and welding within construction or manufacturing environments. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, mechanical blueprint interpretation, and technical drawings. Proficiency in multiple welding techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW, SMAW, and gas metal arc welding. Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and adherence to OSHA standards. Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, machining equipment, and measuring instruments accurately. Mechanical knowledge of metal materials such as sheet metal and structural steel components. Experience working with ASME codes & standards for fabrication projects is preferred. Basic math skills including shop math for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a strong work ethic and attention to detail. Pay:
