Job Description

Position:
Welder /
Fabricator Employment Type:
Part-Time to Full-Time (20-40 hours/week)
Schedule:
Flexible day shifts (Monday-Saturday, normal business hours). No Sundays. ​Job Summary We are seeking a reliable, semi-experienced Welder / Fabricator to cut, weld, and assemble components according to technical drawings and shop specs. This position bridges early-career entry-level tasks and mid-level fabrication. If you have a solid foundation in basic welding, great attention to detail, and a strong work ethic, this role offers steady hours and flexible scheduling. ​Key Responsibilities ​
Fabrication & Assembly:
Measure, cut, grind, fit, and weld metal materials to specification based on technical blueprints and project plans. ​
Welding Operations:
Perform basic structural and light-gauge welds across assigned processes. ​
Shop Upkeep:
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient shop environment. Clean work areas, organize tools, and clear debris daily. ​
Equipment Maintenance:
Perform basic preventive maintenance and routine checks on shop machinery, welders, and tools. ​
Quality & Safety:
Follow all OSHA and shop safety guidelines, inspect finished work for quality standards, and properly use required PPE at all times. ​ Qualifications & Requirements ​
Certification:
Basic welding certification required. ​
Experience:
1-2 years of hands-on welding and fabrication experience (near entry-level with practical shop exposure). ​
Core Skills:
Proficiency with tape measures, angle grinders, saws, hand tools, and shop safety practices. ​
Availability:
Able to work a flexible schedule of 20 to 40 hours per week during standard business hours (Monday through Saturday). ​
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform physical shop labor. ​ Preferred Qualifications ​Multi-process welding experience (MIG, TIG, Stick). ​Hands-on experience working with aluminum.
Pay:
$15.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
