Company Overview We are seeking experienced Welders/Fabricators to support the manufacturing of heavy industrial material-handling equipment and structural steel assemblies. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, fitting, and welding custom components while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Job Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and work instructions. Layout, fit, and fabricate steel components for industrial equipment. Perform MIG and Flux-Core welding on carbon steel materials. Operate fabrication equipment including saws, drills, grinders, plasma cutters, and other shop tools. Verify dimensions using measuring instruments and maintain required tolerances. Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Assist with equipment assembly and installation as required. Qualifications Required High school diploma or GED. Minimum 3 years of welding and fabrication experience. Strong blueprint-reading abilities. Experience with MIG welding and metal fabrication. Ability to use standard fabrication and measuring tools. Reliable attendance and strong safety record. Preferred AWS welding certification. Experience in structural steel fabrication. Conveyor, recycling, aggregate, or material-handling equipment experience. Forklift and overhead crane experience. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to welding fumes, noise, and varying temperatures. Compensation and Benefits Competitive hourly wage based on experience.
