Schedule Our facility operates four days a week (Mon - Thursday) - 10 Hour days Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding components according to specifications, ensuring high-quality standards are met. This role requires proficiency in various welding techniques and the ability to read blueprints effectively. The Fabricator/Welder will work with a variety of materials and must adhere to safety regulations while operating machinery. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate welding processes and materials required. Operate welding equipment, including FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), to assemble and fabricate metal structures. Perform machining tasks as needed to ensure proper fit and finish of fabricated parts. Assemble components using various fastening techniques while adhering to industry codes and standards. Operate cranes and forklifts safely for material handling and movement within the workspace. Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all safety protocols. Qualifications Proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings. Familiarity with welding codes and standards relevant to the industry. Experience with plasma cutting, machining, micrometers, and other fabrication tools is preferred. Ability to operate cranes and forklifts safely; certification is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Willingness to adhere strictly to safety guidelines at all times.
