Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. License:
Welding Certificate Overhead Welding 4G Vertical Welding 3G Capable of FCM welds and repairs by the spec. Able to run PQR Experience or training with these types of welds: Stick Weld (SMAW) / Flat Position, Automatic Weld, Vertical, Overhead. May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in an area of specialty or requires 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Able to calibrate and set welding machines. Able to perform SAW, SMAW, and FCAW welding in all required positions. Physical Requirements Frequently lifts 50 lbs Occasionally lifts 75 lbs Occasional positioning/turning of 80-100 lb parts on a work table Use and support of heavy tools and equipment up to 30 lbs. Body Position Frequent work requiring dexterity in a squatting position, such as applying or tightening bolts or performing welds. Occasionally walk or work on narrow work surfaces above floor level. Stand for 10-12 hours per day. Frequently climb stairs and ladders. Frequently step up or down from elevated surfaces. Change of elevation up to 24". Occasional twisting and work in awkward positions or tight spaces for extended periods Physical exertion Frequent handling, turning and gripping parts of various sizes. Standing and walking for extended periods. Frequent climbing. Using tools such as hand grinders, welding guns, paint guns or blast hoses and nozzles for extended periods. Exposure to vibrating tools and equipment. PPE/ Clothing Requirements Welder/Laborer - 100% cotton clothing with long sleeves, leather or canvas jacket or apron, leather gloves, steel toed boots with metatarsal guards. Pay:
From $19.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 55.0 per week
