Job description:

• Fabricate and assemble metal structures and products using MIG welding techniques
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics to determine welding specifications
• Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools, including plasma cutters and soldering irons
• Ensure welds meet industry codes, standards, and specifications
• Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required specifications
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects in a timely manner
• Assist with rigging and moving materials using forklifts or other mechanical equipment

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a MIG Welder or similar role
• Proficient in MIG welding techniques and able to produce clean, strong welds
• Knowledge of mechanical principles and ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Familiarity with ductwork fabrication, pipe threading, and other related skills is a plus
• Ability to operate forklifts or other mechanical equipment safely and efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as required
