Job Description
Job description:
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures and products using MIG welding techniques
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics to determine welding specifications
- Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools, including plasma cutters and soldering irons
- Ensure welds meet industry codes, standards, and specifications
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required specifications
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects in a timely manner
- Assist with rigging and moving materials using forklifts or other mechanical equipment
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a MIG Welder or similar role
- Proficient in MIG welding techniques and able to produce clean, strong welds
- Knowledge of mechanical principles and ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with ductwork fabrication, pipe threading, and other related skills is a plus
- Ability to operate forklifts or other mechanical equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as required
