Job Description
Job Overview We are a family owned fabricating and machine shop. We are seeking a hardworking Fabricator/Welder who has at least 4 years experience and is familiar with accident repair, MIG welding, using a torch, and has a general knowledge of mechanics and electrical. Our home office is in Mooresville, IN but this position is for our opening at the airport in Indianapolis. This is a full time position Monday through Friday 8 am to 4 pm. Benefits begin after 1 full year of employment. Duties Accident repair on damaged equipment. Parts changing on equipment. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to meet goals and deadlines efficiently. Requirements Must be able to troubleshoot damage to equipment and make necessary repairs. Must be able to work independently. General knowledge of mechanics and electrical. Must know how to properly run welding equipment (turning heat up and down). Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed. Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy materials, and work in various environmental conditions. A commitment to safety practices in a manufacturing environment is crucial.
