Webco Manufacturing is seeking a Fabricator/MIG Welder to join our precision sheet metal team in Alto, GA. In this role, you will interpret blueprints, set up and operate MIG welding equipment, and fabricate custom metal components to exact specifications. Responsibilities include fitting, tack welding, final welds, grinding, and finishing, while maintaining high quality and safety standards. You'll work closely with a team in a fast-paced production environment, support continuous improvement, and help meet on-time delivery goals. This position offers hands-on learning, skill growth, and the chance to contribute to complex fabrication projects. Responsibilities Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine fabrication requirements Set up and operate MIG welding equipment and related tools Fit, tack, and weld metal components to produce high-quality assemblies Perform grinding, deburring, and finishing operations on welded parts Inspect welds and parts for quality, accuracy, and conformance to specifications Follow all safety procedures, using proper PPE and maintaining a clean work area Collaborate with team members to meet production and on-time delivery goals Support continuous improvement, suggesting process and quality enhancements Required Skills MIG welding Blueprint reading Sheet metal fabrication Weld inspection and quality control Use of hand and power tools Metal cutting and grinding Fixture and jig setup Measuring and layout (calipers, tape, squares) Basic mechanical aptitude Safety procedures and PPE compliance
