We are seeking an experienced and dependable CIS Welder to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for welding, assembling, and finishing metal components according to production specifications, drawings, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on welding and fabrication experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to produce consistent, high-quality welds in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform welding on metal components and assemblies according to production specifications. Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work orders, and welding specifications. Fit, position, align, and secure components prior to welding. Perform welds according to required dimensions and quality standards. Inspect completed welds for proper penetration, appearance, strength, and overall quality. Use grinders, sanders, and other hand or power tools to prepare and finish welded surfaces. Measure components using tape measures, calipers, gauges, and other measuring tools. Identify defects and make necessary corrections or repairs. Maintain proper production rates while ensuring quality standards are met. Perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance of welding equipment. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation. Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE. Communicate material, equipment, or quality concerns to the appropriate supervisor. Assist with fabrication, assembly, and other manufacturing duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous welding experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial environment preferred. Knowledge of welding techniques and proper equipment operation. Ability to read and understand blueprints and manufacturing drawings. Experience working with metal fabrication and welded assemblies. Ability to use grinders, measuring tools, and basic fabrication equipment. Strong attention to detail and weld quality. Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a production team. Reliable attendance and willingness to follow all safety and quality procedures.
Preferred Background:
Candidates with previous experience as a Production Welder, MIG Welder, TIG Welder, Fabrication Welder, Manufacturing Welder, Metal Fabricator, or Welder/Fitter are encouraged to apply.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift. Must be comfortable working around welding equipment, metal materials, sparks, heat, and other conditions commonly found in a manufacturing environment.

Pay:
$21.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
