ADM has been in business since 1983, and we're looking to add a production welder to our team. This is a MIG welding role — but ADM isn't a typical shop. We run cobot MIG welders, laser welding, TIG welding, tube bending, and tube laser cutting alongside conventional MIG. Welders who prove themselves get the chance to cross-train onto these other processes as they grow. You'll come in as a production welder and have a path to a skill set most welders never get exposed to. WHAT YOU'LL DO

Framework welding on a variety of commercial jobs — frames, weldments, and sheet metal assemblies MIG weld up to 1/4" steel on small-to-medium batch jobs Tack, weld, and grind assemblies under supervision Read customer drawings and hold tolerances Measure and inspect parts before and after welding to catch defects Follow shop safety practices and cross-cover other shop duties as you grow

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 1-3

years of MIG welding experience (strong candidates outside that range welcome) Curious about fabrication tech — cobots, lasers, automation, TIG, tube work Able to pass a MIG weld test Can accurately measure and self-check work Able to push, pull, or lift up to 70 lbs Reliable commute to Nutley, NJ 07110 (or relocating before start date)

A PATH TO GROW

As you build trust and skill on the MIG side, you'll have the opportunity to cross-train onto our cobot welders, laser welder, TIG stations, tube bender, and tube laser cutter — work typically reserved for our more experienced fabricators. The right person doesn't just leave ADM a better welder; they leave a better fabricator.
