Job Description

MIG Welder Position Overview We are looking for an experienced MIG Welder to join our production team. The ideal candidate can read blueprints, set up welding equipment, and produce quality welds on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Responsibilities Set up and operate MIG welding equipment and tools. Read and follow blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructions. Set welding voltage and current based on material and job requirements. Load, position, and secure parts in fixtures. Weld parts and assemblies to meet quality requirements. Weld in different positions and perform basic layout and metal finishing. Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools. Safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and hand jacks. Troubleshoot basic welding and production issues. Perform basic equipment maintenance and report problems. Complete work orders and quality paperwork. Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe. Qualifications & Requirements 2+ years of welding experience , preferably in manufacturing or production. High school diploma or equivalent. Strong MIG welding experience; TIG experience is a plus. Experience welding steel, stainless steel, and aluminum . Ability to read blueprints and understand weld symbols. Basic understanding of fractions, decimals, and metric measurements. Ability to use calipers and micrometers. Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. Forklift and overhead crane experience is a plus. Training available onsite. PPE, GHS, and LOTO training required. Training available onsite.
