Monday-Thursday; 6:30am-5:00pmPay:
$17.00Summary of Position :
The Welder is responsible for safely welding and assembling parts according to customer drawings, job requirements, and Roth Fabricating quality standards. This role requires attention to detail, the proper use of tools and measuring equipment, and a commitment to safety, quality, and productivity. As business needs change, job duties may be adjusted, and flexibility is expected.Job Duties:
- Perform MIG welding on steel parts and assemblies.
- Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
- Position and secure parts in fixtures before welding.
- Follow welding procedures to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Grind, clean, and finish welded parts as needed.
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards.
- Maintain a safe and clean work area.
- Use tools, equipment, and measuring devices properly.
Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the workday.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials up to 50 pounds, with or without assistance.
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and climb as needed.
- Ability to use hands and arms for welding, grinding, material handling, and operating equipment.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, noise, sparks, fumes, and dust.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including welding helmets, safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and steel-toe footwear.
- Ability to maintain visual accuracy for inspecting weld quality and reading measurements.
- Ability to safely operate equipment and perform job duties in a fast-paced production environment.
