MIG/TIG Welder Pay:
Starting at $20/hr, based on experience
Potential Pay:
Up to $28/hr for the right candidate

Shift:
3:00 PM-1:30 AM, Monday-Thursday Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dependable MIG/TIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience welding a variety of metals and fabricating components according to blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Responsibilities Perform MIG and TIG welding on metal components and assemblies. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, weld symbols, and work instructions. Set up and operate welding machines and fabrication equipment. Select appropriate welding processes, wire, filler materials, gas, and machine settings. Measure, cut, fit, tack, and weld components according to specifications. Inspect completed welds for strength, accuracy, appearance, and quality. Use grinders and hand/power tools to prepare and finish welded surfaces. Identify and correct welding defects. Maintain welding equipment and a clean work area. Follow all safety procedures and required PPE. Work independently and as part of a team to meet production schedules. Qualifications Previous MIG and TIG welding experience required. Experience welding carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum preferred. Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols. Knowledge of welding techniques and basic metal fabrication. Ability to use tape measures, squares, calipers, and other measuring tools. Strong attention to detail. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Welding certification preferred but not required depending on experience. Must be able to pass a weld test. IND2
