Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder/Fitter to join our team in New Philadelphia, OH. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and components, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements. Perform welding and fitting tasks on various materials including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. Set up and operate welding equipment, ensuring proper settings and techniques are used. Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as necessary. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and resolve any issues that arise. Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge in welding techniques. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a welding program is preferred. Proven experience as a welder/fitter, with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Proficient in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick) and equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Valid welding certification is a plus.
