We serve industries and customers worldwide, including sawmills, foundries, power plants, recycling facilities and more! Summary/Objective Welders play an important role in the assembly of various components and the overall production of quality vibratory equipment. In addition to their welding duties, welders are also responsible for a variety of general shop labor tasks and maintaining a safe and positive working environment. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 1. MIG welding in all positions (flat, vertical, and overhead) 2. Ensuring quality welds are being produced, checking for porosity, cracks, etc. 3. Cutting, grinding, and operating other steel fabrication tools/equipment 4. Operating overhead cranes to lift and move materials, parts, and equipment 5. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment 6. Ability to work in a fast-paced, production environment Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, and scheduled days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm. Overtime dependent on workload may be required. Occasional weekend work is optional and may be offered as workload demands. Required Education and Experience/Skills 1. MIG welding experience (with ability to pass a welding test) 2. Basic reading, writing and math skills 3. Experience using hand tools and power tools 4. Ability to accurately read a tape measure and other various measuring devices 5. Strong mechanical aptitude 6. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with a high level of attention to detail 7. Track record of excellent attendance Preferred Education and Experience/Skills 1. Bilingual (English/Spanish)
