Duties & Responsibilities Perform MIG welding on steel and metal components according to production specifications. Position, align, clamp, and secure parts before welding to help ensure accurate assembly. Produce clean, consistent welds while meeting established quality and production standards. Inspect completed welds and identify defects, inconsistencies, or areas requiring rework. Operate welding equipment, hand tools, and measuring tools safely and effectively. Follow work instructions, production procedures, and workplace safety requirements. Maintain a clean and organized welding and fabrication work area. Work with supervisors and production team members to meet daily manufacturing goals.

Qualifications & Requirements Required:

Previous MIG welding experience, training, or demonstrated welding ability. Ability to safely operate MIG welding equipment and related hand tools. Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Dependable attendance and ability to work the scheduled Monday-Thursday shift. Ability to perform the essential functions of a production welding position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred:

Previous production, manufacturing, metal fabrication, or structural welding experience. Experience working with steel components in a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with basic fabrication drawings, measurements, and inspection tools. Welding certification or vocational welding training is a plus but is not required unless otherwise specified for the assignment.
