Drut Welding is seeking a Full time Field Based structural and ornamental Installer.

Schedule is Monday - Thursday, 7:00AM - 5:30PM. Overtime available when needed and Approved.
Responsibilities:
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts. Install and fabricate of ornamental iron, and structural beams and columns. Maintain and repair all machinery. Assess welded surfaces, structures and components to identify errors. Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes. Monitor machinery for appropriate usage. Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Certified Welder is preferred. A minimum of 2 years experience as a welder/Installer. A minimum of 2 years experience in field based welding and construction. Excellent knowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment, and manual tools. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and designs. Have a working knowledge and understanding of welding symbols. Need to have working set of hand tools. Valid Driver's License and clean background check. Must pass 3G Mig Weld test, 3G Stick Test, and 3G Flux test. Outstanding attention to detail.
Additional Responsibilities:
Maintain welding machine. Mentor welders/operators on their welding skills and knowledge, including WPS compliance. Identify & correct welding personnel technical issues. Identify & correct welding equipment issues. Assist lead / support teams to find root causes & corrections of welding issues. Develop and implement welding process cost / quality improvements.
