Welder / Metal Fabricator We are looking for a dependable and experienced Welder / Metal Fabricator to join our team. We are a busy fabrication shop that handles a wide variety of custom fabrication, welding, repair, and modification work. This is not a repetitive production welding job — the work changes regularly, and we need someone who is comfortable taking on different types of projects. Responsibilities MIG, TIG, and Stick welding Welding mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum Fabricating parts and assemblies from drawings, sketches, measurements, or existing components Measuring, laying out, cutting, fitting, and assembling material Using saws, grinders, drills, plasma cutters, torches, and other common fabrication equipment Repair welding and modification work Grinding, prepping, and finishing fabricated parts Working with a variety of material thicknesses and project sizes General shop work and material handling when needed Keeping your work area clean and organized Producing accurate, quality work while working efficiently What We're Looking For Previous welding and/or fabrication experience Ability to accurately read a tape measure Experience with MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding Good fitting and fabrication skills Ability to work with steel, stainless, and aluminum Ability to read drawings and understand basic fabrication layouts Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Comfortable using common fabrication tools and equipment Able to work independently once given a project Dependable and punctual Takes pride in their work Willing to learn and take on different types of jobs Experience with press brakes, shears, ironworkers, CNC equipment, machining, structural fabrication, automotive work, or heavy equipment repair is a plus. You don't need to know everything. We're willing to train the right person who has a good foundation, mechanical ability, a strong work ethic, and is willing to learn. If you like building and fixing things and would rather work on a variety of projects than make the same part all day, this may be a good fit.
