This is an hourly non-exempt position reporting to the Supervisor. This position will perform fabrication tasks to include welding (MIG/TIG/STICK) and cutting of materials for R Braun manufactured products including, Hose Reels, Dumpsters, Booster Pumps, Trailers & Tool Bars. What We Offer /

Duties and Responsibilities:
Understand blueprints and plans to determine the appropriate welding methods and equipment needed for the job. Cutting and shaping metal components utilizing various tools. Position and secure metal pieces using clamps, braces, and other tools to ensure they are correctly aligned before welding. Use various welding techniques
MIG, TIG
& stick, to join metal parts together, ensuring strong and durable welds. Inspect completed welds and structures for quality and compliance with specifications. Repair and maintain existing structures and equipment by removing defective parts and welding new ones in place. Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with industry standards and regulations. Miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor.
Education / Training

Experience Required:
High school diploma or equivalent. Experience and or training in welding and fabrication or any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position. (We welcome sharp career-switchers with strong mechanical foundations!) Experience with MIG welding required; TIG and Stick welding experience preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Strong knowledge of metal properties and welding processes. Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Certification in welding (e.g., AWS, CWB) is a plus. Please note:
All final candidates will be required to pass a hands-on weld and fabrication test in our shop prior to hire.
