Welder / Robotic Welder West Bend, WI | $18-$28/hour + Shift Premiums | Temp-to-Hire | 1st, 2nd & 3rd Shift About the Role Looking for a welding opportunity in an air-conditioned shop ? We are hiring Welders / Robotic Welders for multiple shifts in West Bend, WI. This position combines robotic welding operations with hands-on MIG and TIG welding, grinding, fitting, inspection, and metal fabrication work. You will work from blueprints and job specifications, set welding parameters, inspect completed parts, and help maintain quality and production standards.

Shift:

Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM-1:30 PM or 6:00 AM-2:00 PM 2nd

Shift:

Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM-10:00 PM — $2.50/hour shift premium 3rd

Shift:

Sunday-Thursday, 10:00 PM-6:00 AM — $5.00/hour shift premium

Pay:

$18-$28/hour based on experience Key Responsibilities Operate robotic welding equipment and monitor welding cycles Load and unload welded frames and components Set welding controls including wire feed speed, amperage, polarity, gas, and welding materials Perform MIG and TIG welding as needed Tack weld, fit, clamp, grind, and prepare components for welding Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, job specifications, quality plans, and work instructions Inspect and measure completed parts to verify they meet specifications Remove weld spatter, slag, rough spots, and excess material using grinders, files, scrapers, or other tools Make basic machine adjustments and replace worn accessories or tooling Maintain accurate part counts and properly label completed materials Perform basic preventative maintenance on welding equipment Identify and report defective materials or quality concerns Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow established safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity standards Qualifications High school diploma or GED At least 1 year of welding experience , or an equivalent combination of welding education and experience Ability to perform basic MIG and TIG welding techniques Ability to read blueprints and interpret welding symbols Basic math skills Knowledge of welding equipment, tools, and their proper use Ability to inspect completed work and use gauges or measuring equipment Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment welding test Dependable and able to maintain consistent attendance Preferred Qualifications Welding certificate or degree FANUC robotic welding certification or experience Shop & Safety Requirements This position works in a manufacturing environment where required PPE must be worn on the production floor. Minimum PPE includes safety glasses with side shields, hearing protection, and steel-toe footwear with metatarsal guards . Interested?
