• $72/hr Remote No Reference 514557 Contact name Zoe Huse Apply For This Job Job description We're looking for a highly analytical and strategic Director of Planning to lead the planning function and drive sales, inventory, forecasting, and financial performance across the business.

This person will own the planning strategy, partner closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, and ensure inventory investments align with sales goals, demand, profitability, and growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead overall merchandise and inventory planning strategy Own sales, inventory, demand, and financial forecasts Manage OTB, inventory levels, weeks of supply, and replenishment Analyze sales trends, sell-through, inventory productivity, and business performance Develop seasonal and long-range financial plans and forecasts Identify risks and opportunities and recommend actionable strategies Partner closely with Merchandising, Buying, Sales, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain Lead planning for new launches, promotions, and seasonal initiatives Drive inventory optimization while supporting sales and margin goals Build and present reporting and business insights to senior leadership Lead, develop, and mentor the Planning team Improve planning tools, reporting, and processes

Qualifications:

Strong Director

• or senior-level planning experience Extensive experience in merchandise planning, demand planning, inventory planning, and/or financial planning Strong OTB, forecasting, inventory management, and analytical experience Experience in fashion, beauty, retail, CPG, or consumer products strongly preferred Advanced Excel skills required Strong systems and planning tools experience Proven experience leading and developing a Planning team Strong financial and commercial acumen Excellent cross-functional and executive-level communication skills Ability to turn complex data into clear business recommendations Recruiter Zoe Huse View Zoe Huse's Jobs Benefits offered See Benefits
