Job Description

The O'Fallon Hoots baseball team, a member of the Prospect League, based out of CarShield Field in O'Fallon, Missouri are looking for the next superstars to join its Spring 2027 internship class. Our Marketing & Community Engagement Spring Interns will get hands on experience in Promotions, Social Media, and Community Engagement initiatives involving the team and its special events hosted at CarShield Field. Here's what you can expect to get from us: High quality training and supervision from an energized and experienced full-time staff Career guidance and coaching from upper management Freedom to be creative and develop as a professional in the sports industry Experience in developing and executing ticket packages and programs Here's what we expect from you: Desire to learn and grow Willingness to be challenged and step outside of your comfort zone Energetic and excited about bringing the best show to O'Fallon Here's a snippet of what you'll be doing / learning: Prospect and list build for group sales and theme nights In conjunction with sponsorship sales, develop in-game promotional events Develop and execute social media and other marketing strategies Outreach to local businesses in building community connection and engagement Assist Director of Promotions and Fan Engagement in merchandise design and purchasing Assisting Assistant General Manager in keeping the ballpark in top shape Creating and maintaining a clean, safe and fun ballpark for all fans Assisting in inventory controls and purchasing supplies for stadium Pursuing and coordinating all aspects of ballpark rentals including, but not limited to college baseball games, high school baseball games, soccer practices, and charity events Provide customer service that is For the Fan at all times Other duties as assigned This is an unpaid internship
