Job Description

Job Overview The Impact Manager plays a key role in promoting the Partnership's mission by effectively communicating our goals and initiatives to diverse audiences. This position requires strong communication skills and an understanding of nonprofit messaging. Responsibilities include developing strategies to enhance brand visibility, engage stakeholders, and encourage philanthropy. The Impact Manager collaborates with program staff to create compelling narratives that inspire support and build relationships with donors, volunteers, and the community. Additionally, they lead fundraising efforts, identify new fundraising opportunities, and coordinate charity events, emphasizing creativity and collaboration within the organization and with community partners. Responsibilities Assist the Impact Director in developing an annual communication plan and implement strategies that align with the Partnership's goals. Lead the development of the Partnership's messaging and assemble a toolkit for the Board of Directors to use. Coordinate media relations by responding to inquiries and building relationships. Oversee the promotion and facilitation of events and activities that raise awareness and increase participation in services. Work with program staff to create narratives that highlight achievements, educate the community, inform stakeholders, and showcase successes. Coordinate internal communications to ensure consistent messaging and foster engagement among staff and volunteers. Lead the Fundraising Committee in developing and executing comprehensive fundraising strategies to meet annual goals. Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors, sponsors, and financial partners. Manage and coordinate fundraising events and campaigns. Supervise staff, ensuring adherence to requirements and guidelines, conducting performance conversations, reviewing timesheets and expense reports, and providing professional development opportunities while promptly addressing areas of concern. Represent the Partnership at meetings, professional organizations, and community events. Requirements Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a communication, outreach, or fundraising role, preferably within the nonprofit sector. At least three years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role. Strong interpersonal and networking skills, including experience in developing effective communication strategies. Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. Demonstrated experience in public relations and public outreach Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to cultivate sustaining donors and secure sponsorships for fundraising events. Experienced in planning and managing events. A passion for nonprofit work and advocacy. Ability to work nights and weekends as needed.
