We go beyond traditional tutoring by combining academic support, mentorship, real-world learning, and enrichment experiences designed to help students grow academically and personally. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an outgoing, creative, and dependable individual to help expand Tunnel Vision's presence throughout the community and online. About the Role The Community Engagement & Content Coordinator will help introduce Tunnel Vision to more families through community outreach, local events, partnerships, and social media content. This is not primarily a desk-based marketing position. We're looking for someone who is comfortable walking into a community event, starting conversations with parents, explaining what Tunnel Vision offers, engaging with children and families, capturing content, and representing our brand professionally. You'll work directly with the founder and play an important role in helping grow a young company from the ground up. Responsibilities Community Engagement & Events Attend local family, school, youth, STEM, and community events on behalf of Tunnel Vision Engage with parents and families and confidently explain Tunnel Vision's programs and mission Distribute business cards, program information, and other promotional materials Help coordinate interactive activities or demonstrations at selected events Identify new community events and outreach opportunities Help build relationships with schools, PTOs, libraries, community centers, youth organizations, and other potential partners Content & Social Media Capture photos and short-form video content at events and Tunnel Vision activities Help create engaging Instagram/Facebook Reels, Stories, posts, and other social content Assist with planning content that highlights our programs, student experiences, community involvement, and educational value Help maintain a consistent and professional brand presence online Look for creative ways to turn real Tunnel Vision activities into compelling content Growth & Lead Generation Help turn community engagement into actual interest from families Encourage interested parents to take the appropriate next step with Tunnel Vision Track contacts, conversations, event leads, and potential partnership opportunities Provide feedback on common questions and interests heard from parents in the community Work with the founder to test and improve outreach strategies Who We're Looking For You may be a strong fit if you are: Outgoing and comfortable approaching and speaking with new people Confident communicating with parents, children, and community organizations Creative and comfortable creating social media content Professional, dependable, organized, and self-motivated Comfortable being photographed or appearing in occasional social media content Able to represent Tunnel Vision professionally without constant supervision Comfortable attending some evening and weekend events Interested in education, youth development, entrepreneurship, marketing, community engagement, or business growth Someone who takes initiative rather than waiting to be told exactly what to do Preferred Experience Experience in one or more of the following is helpful but not required: Marketing, social media, content creation, public relations, event coordination, community outreach, sales, education, youth programs, customer service, or student organizations. College students and early-career candidates are encouraged to apply. Schedule This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule. Hours will vary based on community events, outreach opportunities, content needs, and Tunnel Vision's growth. Some evening and weekend availability will be required.
