Position Overview The Marketing & Communications Specialist provides day-to-day marketing and communications support while serving as the local marketing presence for BBB's Lake Havasu Campus. Working directly with the Senior Director of Marketing & Media Relations, this role helps bring the BBB brand to life through community engagement, marketing communications, content creation, and project coordination. Based in BBB's office within Nomadic Coworking in downtown Lake Havasu City, this role enjoys a collaborative, modern work environment surrounded by entrepreneurs, small business owners, and community leaders. It's an energetic setting where no two days are the same, offering opportunities to build relationships, attend local events, and contribute to meaningful work that supports businesses and strengthens the community. The ideal candidate is highly organized, an excellent writer, comfortable learning new technology, and excited to use AI and emerging tools to improve workflows, streamline processes, and creatively repurpose content across multiple marketing channels. Key Responsibilities Campus & Community Presence:

Serve as the face of the Lake Havasu campus, welcome visitors, support local events, and capture local content (photos/videos).

Content Creation:

Draft emails, newsletters, blogs, website updates, and press releases. Repurpose existing content across multiple channels.

Project Support:

Manage marketing calendars, track project timelines, and identify opportunities to use AI tools for workflow efficiency.

Podcast Logistics:

Coordinate guest outreach, scheduling, and asset production to promote podcast episodes. Qualifications 2-4 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field. Strong writing and editing skills across email, web, and media formats. Experience with email marketing platforms and CMS tools. Familiarity with media distribution tools and social media best practices. Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
