Job Description

Elm Electrical, Inc. is an electrical contractor which has the ability to perform electrical services, control panel assembly and create automation for industrial size projects.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, proactive individual looking to gain communications and marketing experience.
THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION
Key Responsibilities Marketing Communications & Social Media
  • Assist in creating and posting content highlighting construction projects, milestones, and company updates
  • Capture and organize jobsite photos/videos for social media and marketing use
  • Help maintain the company website and social media platforms (e.g., Linkedln, Facebook, Instagram)
  • Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and escalate when needed
  • Support development of marketing materials such as newsletters, email campaigns, and internal communications
  • Track basic analytics (reach, engagement, followers) and prepare simple reports
  • Maintain content calendars and coordinate with team members for updates
  • Support development of proposals, presentations, and marketing materials
  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and publishing content across social media platforms.
  • Draft basic marketing copy (social posts, internal announcements, newsletters).
  • Support brand consistency across communications.
  • Help maintain website content and updates as assigned.
  • Any and all other duties as deemed necessary. Working Conditions
  • Combination of office and occasional jobsite exposure

  • Complete required compliance training in a timely manner
  • Review Code of Conduct at least annually and promote and enforce ELM's Code of Conduct
  • Promote and enforce ELM's compliance program.
  • Adhere to ELM's Policy & Procedures
  • Promptly, in good faith, report any instances of suspected fraud, waste, and abuse; suspected privacy and/or security incidents; or any compliance concerns identified. Ensure confidentiality of customer and company proprietary information is maintained Qualifications Experience Requirements
  • 1 -2 years of demonstrated Marketing experience required
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); willingness to learn new software, experience with construction software is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities Professionalism and confidentiality

  • Adaptability and willingness to support multiple departments
  • Strong interpersonal skills Reliability and follow through Education Requirements Associate or bachelor's degree in construction management, Marketing, or related field. Knowledge Skills & Abilities
  • Interest in the construction industry and willingness to learn project workflows
  • Basic knowledge of social media platforms and content creation
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); willingness to learn new software, experience with construction software is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities
