Job Description

Required Education
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or a related fieldRequired Experience
  • 1-3 years of relevant communications experience
  • Strong writing, editing, organizational, and project coordination skills
  • Ability to work effectively with leaders and cross-functional teams, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a fast-paced environmentPreferred Experience
  • Experience supporting executive communications, associate engagement activities, events, and strategic communications initiatives
  • Experience in an automotive, manufacturing, or other large corporate environment with a plant or campus workforce
  • Experience writing leadership messages, associate newsletters, intranet content, or talking points for senior leaders
Job Summary:
Provide communications support for the Auto Development Center (ADC), partnering with ADC leadership and the Internal Communications team to plan, develop, and deliver clear, timely communications for associates and other key audiences.

Job Duties
  • Support the development and coordination of ADC communications, including leadership messages, associate updates, presentations, and storytelling
  • Support town halls, leadership forums, milestone celebrations, and other ADC communications needs
  • Coordinate photography, video, digital content and communications materials with internal partners and vendors
  • Provide communications support during urgent or critical situations
  • Support leadership events, site visits, associate meetings and facility tour logistics
  • Partner with Corporate Affairs, Human Resources and other internal stakeholders to ensure consistent, effective communications across ADC
  • Maintain awareness of ADC activities, priorities and business initiatives, providing regular communications updates and recommendations to ADC and communications leadership
  • Support the planning and execution of specific PSCC communications, leadership communications, and supplier communications, ensuring consistent messaging that supports business priorities, strengthens stakeholder engagement, and fosters alignment across internal and external audiences
  • Support communications needs for other Honda locations and business units as requested
  • Travel:
    2-4 trips per year, as needed
