Reports to the Director of Operations.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Communications Coordinator is the central point of contact for families, coaches, and teams at Elevate Northwest. Questions come to this person and get answered quickly and completely, without needing to be passed along to anyone else. This is a communication and follow-through role, not a technical one.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Serve as the first point of contact for phone calls, emails, and general inquiries from families and the public Support coaches and teams on everyday questions, and get ahead of them with updates on deadlines, schedules, and events Keep information moving through our internal communication channels Coordinate team logistics, including uniforms, field requests, and tournament registrations Track and communicate team budgets Keep the website, knowledge base, and public listings accurate and current Support marketing with details for programs and events Serve as the point of contact for technology and vendor support requests
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR A
strong communicator who enjoys being the person others rely on for answers Organized and composed while managing many requests at once A reliable finisher who takes ownership of a task through to resolution. This is the most important trait in the role. Comfortable with everyday technology such as email, spreadsheets, CRM, scheduling tools, and website content tools. No coding required. Year-round availability, including some evenings and occasional weekends during program season Reliable transportation for travel between facilities Ability to pass a background check Experience in youth sports, recreation, or a membership-based organization is helpful but not required.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Pay range: $20.00 to $40.00 per hour, to be determined based on qualifications and experience.
