Explorations Media Group (EXPMG) is a regional tourism media company and marketing studio serving Kentucky Lake, Lake Barkley and Land Between The Lakes. Since 2001, our work has focused on two things: promoting the lakes region through our own digital platforms and providing creative and digital marketing services for regional businesses and organizations. We're looking for a full-time Multimedia & Creative Specialist who is strongest behind a camera but also enjoys video, social media and other creative digital work. The right candidate will be comfortable photographing people, places, businesses, properties, events and experiences, while also creating short-form video, reels and social media content for EXPMG and our clients. This position is based in a small rural office, so it is best suited for someone who is comfortable working in a quiet, small-team environment. Primary Responsibilities Capture professional photography for EXPMG-owned platforms and client projects Shoot and edit video, including reels and short-form social content Edit photography using Adobe Lightroom and professional photo-editing workflows Create and schedule social media content for company and client accounts Write captions, basic marketing copy and other digital content as needed Assist with WordPress website updates and creative projects Support clients with photography, social media, website and digital marketing needs Continue developing creative skills and learning new tools Must-Have Skills Strong photography skills and a good visual eye Proficiency with Adobe Lightroom Experience shooting and editing video, including reels and short-form content Experience creating social media content for businesses, organizations or professional brands Strong communication and customer-service skills Excellent attention to detail Ability to manage multiple creative projects and deadlines A photography and/or video portfolio is required as part of the application process. Preferred Skills Helpful, but not required: WordPress and Elementor Graphic design Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator or InDesign FAA Part 107 certification Drone photography and videography Basic

knowledge Experience with branding or print design Familiarity with tourism, hospitality or western Kentucky EXPMG is open to helping the right candidate pursue FAA Part 107 certification if they do not already have it. Some days may involve a photo or video shoot. Others may include editing content, scheduling social posts, helping a client, updating a website or working on another creative project.
