Job Description:

What to expect: Do you exude Falcon spirit? Do you enjoy making content for social media? Then this position is for you! Fitchburg State University is looking for student social media content creators to create content to showcase life at Fitchburg State University. You would create content regarding student life, academics, and what it looks like to be a Falcon.

Content would consist of:

creating and editing TikTok videos and Instagram Reels, as well as attending on-campus events (day and evening) to gather content. Each week you would be assigned content requests to create videos or gather content for marketing purposes. You will create content, and work directly with our social media coordinator and other professional staff in the Office of Marketing and Integrated Communications to develop content for a variety of posts and messaging content. Additionally, you will attend events and gather content on campus.

Responsibilities:

• Submit at least 1-2 pieces of content every week.
• Showcase Fitchburg State in a positive way.
• Demonstrate life at Fitchburg State through photos and videos.
• Work closely with our Marketing team to create content for the official Fitchburg State University social media accounts.
• Keep track of what's trending.
• Be creative when creating your content.

• Social media experience preferred

Additional Information:

This is a part-time, non-benefited student only position, hours vary but no more than 20 hours per week at $15.00 per hour.
