Job Description

General Summary The Content Creator Coordinator oversees Maine Policy Institute's "Generation Maine" project, a youth-created digital storytelling initiative. Working closely with the Director of Digital Media, this position requires the candidate to develop short-form digital content by managing digital creators, overseeing the assignment and completion of video projects, managing digital media files, generating imagery, and ensuring accuracy. Additionally, this role is designed to assist the Director of Digital Media with day-to-day media tasks. The successful candidate will be creative, highly organized, and motivated by the Maine Policy Institute mission. Qualifications and Skills Maine Policy Institute seeks an energetic, detail-oriented professional who demonstrates initiative, sound judgment, and strong follow-through. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and have a consummate understanding of the creation of effective digital content.
Qualified candidates should possess:
Proficiency in social media applications such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and X, and YouTube, with an ability to interpret analytics. Experience in video editing software such as CapCut or Adobe Premiere Pro. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite apps such as Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator. Strong sense of effective short-form video content creation, ideation, and storytelling. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Sound editorial judgment. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate professionally and confidently. Excellent organizational, project-management, and problem-solving abilities. Experience in managing people, creative projects, and deadlines preferred.
Pay:
$45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
