This is a great opportunity for a college student studying marketing, communications, digital media, graphic design, public relations, or a related field — but a degree or specific major is not required. We care much more about creativity, personality, reliability, and what you can create. Duties Creating and filming short-form videos, TikToks, Reels and other social content Coming up with creative content ideas based on current trends Taking photos and videos of our team and agency Editing short-form videos for social media Creating simple graphics and social posts using tools such as Canva Helping plan a social media content calendar Writing captions and helping schedule posts Creating employee spotlights, behind-the-scenes content, educational content and fun office videos Helping us develop a consistent personality and presence across our social media platforms Staying current on TikTok, Instagram and Facebook trends Brainstorming new ways to make insurance content more interesting and relatable Occasionally attending agency events or activities to capture content Requirements Lives in the Kansas City metro area Is creative and comfortable bringing new ideas to the table Understands TikTok, Instagram Reels and Facebook Is comfortable filming and interacting with employees Has basic photo and video editing skills Has experience with Canva, CapCut or similar editing tools Understands social media trends and what makes people stop scrolling Can work independently and meet deadlines Is dependable, organized and communicates well Is comfortable working in a professional office environment while still having fun with content Join us as a Part Time Social Media Content Creator—where your creativity fuels our brand's online story!
