The Social Media Assistant supports the Marketing Coordinator in executing strategies that boost the firm's visibility, client engagement, and brand reputation. This role involves content creation, social media, event coordination, research, and general marketing support. Ideal candidates are organized, proactive, and creative, with strong communication skills and a passion for marketing in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with planning and maintaining social media content calendars. Create, schedule, and publish engaging posts, stories, reels, and other social content. Monitor social media channels and respond to comments, messages, and audience interactions. Research current social media trends, hashtags, sounds, and content ideas. Assist with creating captions, graphics, short-form videos, and other digital content. Track social media performance and help prepare monthly or weekly reports. Support social media campaigns, promotions, product launches, and special events. Monitor competitor and industry activity to identify relevant opportunities. Help maintain consistent brand voice, messaging, and visual identity across platforms. Collaborate with marketing and creative teams on content initiatives. Stay up to date with changes to social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices. Attend events to support community outreach.

Qualifications:

1+ year of experience managing or assisting with social media accounts preferred. Strong understanding of major social media platforms and their best practices. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Creative mindset with an eye for engaging content. Ability to multitask and meet deadlines. Basic knowledge of social media scheduling and analytics tools. Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools is a plus. Photography, video editing, or graphic design experience is a plus.
