About Us Glass Asylum is a premier glassblowing studio in Northeast Ohio, creating handcrafted glass art and lighting for residential and commercial spaces. We also offer glassblowing workshops, studio rentals, and private and corporate events. Our sister location, Glass Asylum 2, is an event venue and lighting showroom located approximately one mile from our main studio. We're looking for a creative, outgoing Social Media & Event Content Coordinator to grow GA2's social media presence and capture the energy of our events. This is a hands-on, in-person position. The ideal candidate will regularly attend private and public events at GA2 to photograph and film content while also helping support events as needed. Responsibilities Develop and execute social media strategies to increase awareness, engagement, and event inquiries Create original photo and video content for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok Capture content during approximately 1-3 events per week , including evenings and weekends Create Reels/TikToks, posts, Stories, graphics, captions, and other promotional content Manage GA2 social media accounts and maintain a consistent posting schedule Respond to comments and social media messages in a timely manner Edit photos and short-form video for social media and marketing use Help showcase the venue, events, décor, lighting, and overall guest experience Assist with event operations as needed while working events Schedule Approximately 20-30 hours per week with a flexible schedule. Evening and weekend availability is required based on the event schedule. This is an in-person position and is not hybrid or remote. Qualifications Experience managing business social media accounts or creating social content Strong photography and short-form video skills Experience with photo/video editing and graphic design software Strong writing, communication, and proofreading skills Understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and current social media trends Comfortable working around guests and interacting professionally at events Organized and able to manage multiple accounts, projects, and deadlines Bartending or event experience is a plus

Pay:

From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 30.0 per week
