Come Tell a Story That Actually Matters There are plenty of jobs where you can create social posts, shoot video, edit photos, and build digital campaigns. This one gives you the opportunity to do all of that for a company whose work helps protect people around the world. At SKC Inc. , our purpose is captured in three words: Science. Serving People.™ We manufacture products used by industrial hygienists, safety professionals, laboratories, manufacturers, and organizations around the world to help identify workplace hazards and protect worker health. But "Serving People" doesn't stop with our customers. It starts with our own team. That commitment has helped SKC earn recognition as a 2026 Top Workplace in Manufacturing , along with Culture Excellence awards for Professional Development, Employee Well-Being, Employee Appreciation, Purpose & Values, Work-Life Flexibility, and Innovation . We're proud of those awards, not because we like trophies, but because they reflect the kind of company we're intentionally trying to build. Now we're looking for a Digital Content & Media Coordinator who can help us tell that story. This Isn't a "Sit at Your Desk and Schedule Posts" Marketing Job One day you might be photographing a new product. The next, you could be interviewing one of our engineers, capturing footage on our manufacturing floor, producing a how-to video, creating content from a company event, supporting a product launch, or finding a better way to tell a technical story on LinkedIn. You'll have the opportunity to create content from concept to final product . That means you won't simply receive a folder of assets and be told to post them. You'll help create the assets. You'll plan the shoot. Set the lighting. Ask the questions. Capture the footage. Edit the story. Build the graphics. Publish the content. Look at the results. Then figure out how to make the next one even better. If you're someone who likes having both creative freedom and real ownership , you'll probably enjoy this role. What You'll Get to Create Your work will span a wide range of content, including: Social media content and campaigns Product photography Employee and leadership photography Product demonstration videos How-to and instructional videos Technical and educational content Employee, customer, and industry interviews Trade show and event coverage Company culture and employer-brand content Digital advertisements and campaign graphics Email marketing assets Website and landing-page content Promotional materials Content supporting product launches and industry education You'll also help us continuously improve the way SKC shows up digitally identifying new ideas, experimenting with formats, following trends, reviewing analytics, and finding opportunities we haven't thought of yet.
The Fun Challenge:
Making Technical Content Interesting SKC isn't selling sneakers, coffee, or vacation packages. We operate in the world of industrial hygiene and occupational health and safety . That means some of the stories you'll tell involve technical products, scientific concepts, manufacturing processes, and subject matter experts who know their fields incredibly well. You do not need to arrive as an industrial hygiene expert. You do need to be curious. We want someone who enjoys asking questions, learning how things work, and figuring out: "How do I make this understandable, interesting, and visually compelling?" If you can take something complicated and turn it into content someone actually wants to watch, read, or share, we want to meet you. You'll Have Access to Real People and Real Stories Some of the best content at SKC isn't going to come from stock photography or generic marketing copy. It's here. It's in our manufacturing areas. It's in our laboratories. It's in the experience of employees who have spent decades learning their craft. It's in conversations with customers and industry experts. It's in the products we've developed to help people go home healthier at the end of the workday. We want someone who is comfortable walking into those environments, building relationships, asking thoughtful questions, and finding the story. Our Core Values Aren't Wall Decorations Three values guide how we work: Service. Integrity. Passion. Service We help each other. We respond. We follow through. We remember that there is a person on the other side of the work we do. Integrity We do what we say we're going to do. We care about accuracy, especially when communicating technical information. We own mistakes and fix them. Passion We care about the quality of our work. We bring ideas forward. We look for better ways to do things instead of accepting, "That's how we've always done it." We're looking for someone who sees those values and thinks, "That's how I want to work." You'll Probably Love This Role If You… Get genuinely excited about creating great content Can see a story where other people see an ordinary workday Enjoy photography and videography as much as writing and digital content Know how to make people comfortable in front of a camera Can independently set up lighting, audio, cameras, and interview environments Care about the little details other people miss Are comfortable receiving feedback without taking it personally Like juggling several projects without losing track of deadlines Can work independently but genuinely enjoy collaborating with others Are curious enough to learn technical products and unfamiliar industries Occasionally think, "We could make a really cool video about this" Want your ideas to have room to become actual projects What We're Looking For Ideally, you'll bring: 2+ years of professional experience in digital content creation, video production, photography, social media, marketing communications, or a related field Experience producing professional video content from concept through final edit Experience using professional photography and/or videography equipment Strong knowledge of lighting for interviews, products, portraits, and other production environments Experience conducting and recording interviews Strong video-editing capability using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar professional software Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or comparable creative tools Strong writing and communication skills A strong understanding of social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn An eye for visual quality, brand consistency, grammar, formatting, and technical accuracy The ability to manage multiple projects and communicate proactively The ability to turn technical information into content people can understand A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Film, Photography, or a related field is preferred, but we're especially interested in what you've actually created . Experience with tools such as social advertising platforms, digital asset management systems, Metricool, or Monday.com is a plus. A Portfolio Will Tell Us More Than a Perfect Résumé Show us what you've made. Video. Photography. Interviews. Social campaigns. Design work. Brand content. Technical storytelling. Something weird and creative you're proud of. We want to understand how you think and what you can create. Where You'll Work This is a hybrid position , combining in-office work with the ability to work from home. Because much of the best content happens where the action is, you'll also spend time capturing content in SKC offices, manufacturing areas, laboratories, warehouses, company events, and other environments. Occasional travel may be required for trade shows, events, interviews, photoshoots, and other marketing opportunities. Why SKC? We're a global company with more than six decades of history, but we're still small enough that one creative person can make a noticeable impact. Your work won't disappear into five layers of approvals at a giant corporation. People will see it. Customers will see it. Employees will see it. And you'll have an opportunity to help shape how a respected global brand tells its story during an exciting period of growth and evolution. If you're looking for a marketing role where you can create, experiment, learn, collaborate, and make something you're proud to put your name on , we'd love to see what you can do. Bring your portfolio. Bring your ideas. Bring your curiosity. Let's create something worth watching.
