SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT PRODUCER
Brand Operations | Oldham Hospitality Oldham Hospitality is looking for a creative, quick-moving Social Media Content Producer to join our Brand Operations team. This is a hands-on content role for someone who knows how to spot a moment, pull out their phone and capture it well. From a busy Saturday at one of our restaurants to live music, festivals, beer releases, weddings, behind-the-scenes moments and an ordinary Tuesday that happens to look really good on camera, this person will help us capture the people, places and experiences behind our brands. The primary focus of this position is vertical video content for social media, including Instagram Reels, Stories, TikTok and other short-form platforms.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Capture vertical photo and video content across Oldham Hospitality brands and locations Attend select events, activations, launches and other content-worthy moments Edit short-form video for Reels, Stories and other social platforms Turn raw footage into polished, engaging content using CapCut or comparable editing software Capture behind-the-scenes, lifestyle, food and beverage, hospitality, event and people-focused content Work from Brand Ops direction, shot lists and content priorities while also recognizing good content opportunities in the moment Organize and deliver captured content to the Brand Operations team in a timely manner Help maintain a consistent visual standard across our brands
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You don't necessarily need a traditional marketing background. You do need a good eye.
Our ideal candidate:
Understands what makes short-form social content engaging Is comfortable shooting primarily on an iPhone Has experience editing video in CapCut or an equivalent platform Understands framing, lighting, movement, pacing, audio and basic storytelling Can capture people naturally without making every interaction feel staged Keeps up with social trends without feeling the need to turn every trend into brand content Is comfortable working independently in busy hospitality and event environments Can take creative direction and also recognize great moments without being told Is organized and able to manage footage from multiple brands and locations Has basic Canva skills or is willing to learn Is comfortable working within an Apple-based team environment
SCHEDULE
This is a part-time, hourly position with a flexible schedule based on content needs. This is not a traditional Monday-Friday, 9-to-5 role. Some content can be captured during normal weekday hours, while other needs will happen during evenings, weekends and special events. Availability during those times is an important part of this position. Schedules and content needs will vary from week to week, and we will work together to plan coverage whenever possible.
WHAT THIS ROLE IS NOT
This position is not responsible for owning our overall social media strategy or independently managing every brand account. You'll work as part of the Brand Operations team, supporting the larger content calendar and brand strategy by helping us capture and create the content that brings it to life.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Strong short-form video capture and editing skills Proficiency in CapCut or comparable editing software Understanding of Instagram Reels, Stories, TikTok and vertical-first content Evening and weekend availability Reliable transportation and ability to travel between Oldham Hospitality locations Ability to provide examples of previous photo/video or social content work
Preferred:
Hospitality, food and beverage, tourism, event or lifestyle content experience Canva experience Photography experience Familiarity with Apple/iPhone-based creative workflows Experience capturing live events or fast-moving environments
COMPENSATION
Base pay starting at $15 per hour, negotiable based on experience and portfolio.
