We sell direct through our own storefront and through a marketplace account with a two-decade track record and hundreds of thousands of transactions behind it. Small team, real products, no layers of approval — what you launch on Monday shows up in the numbers by Friday. The role We're looking for one person to own how MAZ Muscle looks and how MAZ Muscle sells. That means you're behind the camera at a shoot in the morning, in Ads Manager in the afternoon, and building next quarter's budget on Friday. You'll report directly to the owner and own the marketing budget end to end. What you'll do Content production Shoot and edit product and lifestyle content — installed parts, cars, shop, events Produce short-form vertical video for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts Retouch and prep product photography for the website and marketplace listings Keep a consistent visual standard across every channel Paid media Build, run, and optimize Google Ads (Search, Shopping, PMax) and Meta Ads Own marketplace promoted-listing spend alongside the DTC channels Manage feeds, creative testing, audience structure, and budget pacing Report on ROAS, CAC, and contribution margin — not just impressions Budget + planning Build and manage the monthly and quarterly marketing budget Allocate spend across channels and defend the allocation with numbers Forecast against product launches and the automotive event calendar Influencer + community Source, negotiate with, and manage relationships with automotive creators and builders Coordinate product seeding, install partnerships, and event content Track what each partnership actually returned What we're looking for 3+ years running paid media with real budget responsibility (please be ready to talk about actual spend levels and results) Hands-on production skills: you own a camera, you can light a car, and you can edit in Premiere, Final Cut, DaVinci, or equivalent Working proficiency in Photoshop or Lightroom for product retouching Comfort with Shopify and online marketplace listing tools Fluency in the numbers — you can build a budget in a spreadsheet and explain why a channel is or isn't working You can work independently. Nobody here is going to hand you a content calendar. Nice to have Genuine knowledge of the automotive aftermarket — you know what an S550 is without looking it up Experience marketing physical products with real COGS and freight Email/SMS marketing (Klaviyo or similar) Basic motion graphics Your own project car would be an amazing qualification here
