Position Summary We are seeking an experienced eCommerce Account Specialist / Marketplace Account Manager to manage and grow key online retail accounts within the home decor and furnishings industry. Candidates must have direct, hands-on experience working with major eCommerce retailers and marketplaces such as Wayfair, Amazon, Overstock/Bed Bath & Beyond, Lamps Plus, Walmart.com, and similar national online retailers. This position requires someone who understands the day-to-day operational side of eCommerce - not simply digital marketing. The successful candidate will have experience managing retailer portals, product setup and maintenance, pricing, inventory, orders, shipping requirements, chargebacks, claims, content, promotions, and ongoing account communication. The position works closely with sales, operations, logistics, product development, overseas offices, and customers to ensure accounts are managed accurately, profitably, and efficiently. Primary Responsibilities Manage assigned eCommerce and major online retail accounts from product setup through order fulfillment. Work directly within customer and marketplace portals, including Wayfair, Amazon, Overstock/Bed Bath & Beyond, Lamps Plus, Walmart.com, and other major eCommerce platforms. Create, upload, maintain, and optimize product listings, including descriptions, specifications, dimensions, images, attributes, pricing, and other required product data. Manage new-item setup and ensure products meet each retailer's specific content and data requirements. Monitor and maintain product pricing, costs, margins, promotions, inventory availability, and account-specific requirements. Work with the sales team to develop and maintain monthly sales forecasts by customer. Prepare customer quotations and costing while maintaining established margin requirements. Monitor purchase orders from receipt through shipment and delivery. Coordinate inventory availability, order processing, ship dates, routing requirements, and other logistical requirements. Identify and resolve order discrepancies, customer claims, deductions, shortages, compliance issues, and chargebacks. Understand and manage retailer-specific shipping, labeling, packaging, EDI, routing, and compliance requirements. Communicate with overseas factories/offices, internal operations, logistics teams, and sales representatives to ensure orders and programs are executed correctly. Maintain accurate product and account information across multiple eCommerce platforms. Assist with product launches, promotions, pricing updates, discontinued items, inventory changes, and seasonal programs. Analyze account performance, sales trends, margins, inventory, and opportunities for growth. Provide assigned accounts with presentations, quotations, samples, product information, order management, and ongoing sales support. Develop and maintain best practices for product listings, content creation, account maintenance, and eCommerce operations. Travel to customer meetings, trade shows, markets, and overseas offices/factories when necessary. Required Experience This is an experienced eCommerce position. Candidates without direct marketplace or major eCommerce retailer experience will not be considered. Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on eCommerce account management, marketplace, omni-channel, or major online retail experience. Direct experience with Wayfair and Amazon is strongly required. Experience with Lamps Plus, Overstock/Bed Bath & Beyond, Walmart.com, Home Depot, Lowe's, Target, or similar major eCommerce retailers is highly desirable. Demonstrated experience using retailer/vendor portals to manage products, orders, inventory, pricing, content, and account issues. Experience with product setup and item maintenance, including SKUs, UPCs, product attributes, images, descriptions, specifications, and pricing. Experience handling retailer chargebacks, deductions, claims, compliance requirements, and order discrepancies. Experience working with EDI, purchase orders, routing, shipping requirements, and retailer compliance is strongly preferred. Retail, wholesale, importing, home decor, furniture, lighting, or related consumer-product experience is highly preferred. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Advanced attention to detail and accuracy. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong Microsoft Excel skills and ability to work comfortably with large amounts of product and sales data. Excellent organizational and project-management abilities. Ability to manage multiple retailer accounts, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Understanding of retail margins, costing, pricing, freight, and profitability. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively across departments. Strong knowledge of home decor, furniture, lighting, or related categories is a significant advantage. Ability to travel domestically and internationally when necessary. Education Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, eCommerce, or a related field preferred. Substantial relevant eCommerce experience may be considered in place of a degree.
