On-site, panel style Notes from the HM Digital marketing, but works with IT Don't need to be a developer but have some teach understanding Management requests and improvements Work in Jira and confluence enterprise web CMS platforms Experience with Sitecore is a plus Gather business requirements Google analytics (GA4) and salesforce data data driven decision making Work through production issues Strong communication skills Working with stakeholders Make game time decisions in development Sprint planning Manage backlog Site performance and Core web vitals No UX or design experience needed (handled by a different team) Support content authors on a technical level Strong organization and project management Release every 5 weeks on a Thursday after hours Must have prior experience in a Product Owner role Proficient in Jira Must have experience partnering with IT teams & managing development sprint cycles Feels comfortable and confident prioritizing development tickets on behalf of stakeholders Ability to manage conflicting feedback from stakeholders to drive consensus and execution Job Description The Digital Marketing team is seeking an organized, proactive Website Operations Manager. In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact between business stakeholders and IT, facilitating website execution and technical delivery. As a self-starter and practical problem solver, you will translate business requirements into actionable user stories, manage Jira sprint priorities, and help optimize our digital platforms for peak efficiency. Essential Duties ?
Sprint & Backlog Management:
Facilitate the Agile planning cadence in Jira, working with stakeholders to translate business needs into clear user stories and prioritizing tickets for upcoming development sprints. ?
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner closely with IT to plan sprint capacity, track deliverables, clear everyday blockers, and maintain steady progress toward digital goals. ?
Requirements & Solution Alignment:
Gather business requirements and work alongside technical teams to identify practical, efficient solutions for website enhancements. ?
Web Governance & Ticketing:
Monitor website health, triage incoming user/stakeholder requests, and manage ticket prioritization. ? Technical
SEO & AEO
Execution:
Support technical SEO and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) initiatives. Monitor and help optimize site speed, URL structure, and Schema markup for search engines (Google, Bing) and AI discovery tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity). Qualifications ? 3-5 years of experience coordinating or managing web delivery in a cross-functional environment. ? Hands-on experience working directly with IT teams, writing clear user stories, and managing sprint cycles in Jira. ? Strong foundational understanding of Agile/Scrum practices (backlog grooming, sprint planning, retro). ? Familiarity with enterprise CMS platforms (Sitecore experience is a plus). ? Experience with Google Analytics 4 to review page performance and inform ticket priorities. ? Exposure to web tools/integrations (e.g., chatbots, localization, customer reviews, AEO/SEO practices). ? Working knowledge of web deployment flows (testing features in UAT through live production). Education & Requirements ? Bachelor's Degree required. ? Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to simplify complex ideas into actionable project steps. ? Strong organizational skills with a customer-first mindset.
