Who we are Essential Apparel is a small, hands-on e-commerce company in Wayne, NJ. We sell more than 10,000 products from brands people know and love, like Under Armour, Patagonia, Lee, Hanes, Alternative, plus our own brand, Berkshire. We have our own website, plus we sell on 3P marketplaces like Amazon, Target, Walmart & more. The role in a nutshell You'll be responsible for our marketplace business. That means getting more products listed, making our listings sell better, keeping our best sellers in stock, and finding the next big thing to sell. You'll work with a small team in our Wayne, NJ office. You won't be coding or running ads. Our systems and team already handle that, so you can focus on what moves sales. What you'll do Get products live. Get new items listed on Amazon, Walmart, Target, and eBay. Level up our listings. Use AI, competitor research, and 3rd party recommendations to write better titles, bullet points, descriptions, and search keywords. Win brand approvals. Apply for brand approval process on the marketplaces so we can sell more of the brands we carry. Keep an eye on our seller accounts. Check seller dashboards daily for updates, customer requests, and error notifications. Keep best sellers in stock. Team up with our buyer, using our internal tools to keep hot items in stock. Find the next best seller. Research what's trending and selling on the marketplaces to identify possible opportunities (new products or new categories). Bring your ideas. We value everyone's input and are willing to try new things. What you bring Comfort with Excel and large CSV files. You can sort, filter, and clean thousands of rows without breaking a sweat. No macros or Power Query needed. Comfortable using Ai to speed up mundane or repeatable tasks. You're excited to learn on the job and to work in person with a small, tight-knit team. Bonus points Experience with 3P marketplaces like Amazon, Walmart, eBay, etc. Experience researching products and competitors.
