full-time About the Role The Sample Development Assistant is a full-time, on-site role supporting the sample development process, from pulling materials to preparing garments for fittings and reviews. This role works closely with the design and development team to keep samples, patterns, and tracking records organized and up to date. Responsibilities Pull the patterns, reference garments, fabrics, trims, and other materials needed for samplemaking, fittings, and development reviews Request and track samples from the warehouse, maintain accurate records of their location, and coordinate their return each week Prepare samples for fittings and development reviews in the sample room or Norma's office - dress mannequins, present garments for review, take photographs, record comments and corrections, and update development records Monitor office supply inventory and place orders through approved vendors as needed Maintain development tracking logs and follow up on outstanding patterns, corrections, and samples to support deadlines and scheduled reviews Support the ongoing organization of the physical and digital pattern archive by maintaining accurate labels, style information, version records, and digitization status
