Share 139220BR Floorplan Analyst Westlake, OH Job Description The Floorplan Analyst is responsible for developing and executing the space allocation for the Celebrations Department in each retail account using Blue Yonder Floor. The floorplan analyst will assist their manager in developing the allocation strategy for each retailer or retail group. The space allocation strategy will ensure each department is productive and profitable across each business category. The floorplan analyst will execute the fixture, signage, accessory and product order for each assigned retail account. The floorplan role will need strong analytical skills to understand the sales and space models, along with strong communication skills as they will regularly be working through data with their business intelligence counterparts, retailer needs with their sales partners and performance-based strategy or tactic shifts with their product management contacts. Floorplan analysts will execute the space allocation at both the Macro, or category level, and also the micro, or occasion level, within each department. This role is responsible for executing all needed account layout updates to create a celebrations department at retail including planogram merchandising and assignment. The floorplan analyst will need to collaborate with the spaceplanners when new planograms are needed to support changes in the space allocation strategy. Floorplan analysts will need a strong understanding of our different fixture types and how fixtures and accessories are setup as a bill of materials. Additionally, these individuals are responsible for evaluating the performance of their floorplans and identifying opportunities to increase retail productivity over time.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 Create and maintain all assigned floorplans for American Greetings  Participate in executing continuous improvement opportunities  Analyze productivity, inventory efficiency and profitability for their floorplans and suggests areas of opportunity to better achieve goals  Ensure all retail updates are completed in the most cost effective manner  Manage productivity of space; identifying opportunities to improve productivity through optimizations  Accurate and efficient management of product, planogram, store and assortment data  Efficient creation and maintenance of floorplans  Enhance the reporting capabilities to enrich American Greeting's business processes

Experience Required:

Required Length & Type of Experience:

 0-3 years related experience  Consumer packaged goods experience preferred in areas of product management and/or merchandising  Space planning/merchandising experience is preferred  Strong analytic skills  Stong financial knowlege  Clear, crisp communication and presentation skills

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

 Blue Yonder/JDA space and/or floor experience preferred  Microsoft office, especially

Excel Education Required:
