Our newspapers follow the same path, organizing news, empowering residents, and highlighting small, local businesses. We're searching for dependable, motivated marketing specialists to supercharge our upcoming projects. The marketing specialist will be responsible for communicating with local businesses, driving adspace sales, and promoting subscriptions. This role is an on-the-ground position, where the marketer is expected to travel short distances within the city to visit small businesses and restaurants, and must secure a quota of ad sales each month.

Potential job duties include:

Ability to drive within the town/city to small businesses Proven experience in marketing and/or advertising Proven track record for meeting sales KPIs Social and outgoing personality Available for business calls and meetings on short notice Understanding of small business budgets and operations Knowledgeable in sales best practices Brings prior experience to the role Familiarize with our ads model Other potential duties as needed This role starts at 10 hours per week and a rate of $17/hr. This is a contract position.

Pay:

$17.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 20.0 per week
