NeuroField Neurotherapy (neurofieldneurotherapy.com) is a Santa Barbara-based clinic delivering personalized, evidence-based brain health care. The School of Neurotherapy (schoolofneurotherapy.com) provides professional certification and continuing education in QEEG, neurofeedback, and neuromodulation for clinicians nationwide. The School also hosts the annual Neurotherapy Conference at the Beach. About the Role NeuroField is hiring a part-time Marketing & Design Associate with strong communications skills to support all three companies across design, writing, and marketing operations. This is a hands-on generalist role for someone who can move between visual design, long-form content, email campaigns, PR, and event support. You'll support projects and have direct visibility into meaningful work at the edge of neuroscience and clinical care. Additionally, part of your scope will include supporting the School's day-to-day operations and administration support. Responsibilities Design & Visual Design graphics, marketing collateral, advertisements, and social assets for digital and print across three brands Maintain visual consistency and brand integrity across NeuroField, NeuroField Neurotherapy, and the School of Neurotherapy and Conference Must have a strong background in visual design and graphic design tools, and advanced writing skills Website Copy & Updates Write clear, compelling website copy, including landing pages, product and offering pages, service descriptions, and bios Update and maintain existing websites in WordPress, Squarespace, and Kajabi (content updates and copy, not ground-up builds) Ability to understand userflows and navigation pathways for page optimization Writing & Content Write long-form content including blog posts, editorial pieces, press releases, and educational articles Write short-form copy including ads, social captions, emails, and CTAs Adapt voice and tone appropriately across clinical, educational, and consumer-facing audiences, including executive leadership branding Storytelling and digital narrative a bonus Email Marketing & Digital Marketing Build and manage campaigns end-to-end, including newsletters, automations, and list management Maintain list hygiene and apply basic segmentation Maintain socials, draft content, manage engagement and comment monitoring. Support ads, reports, and more. Create social graphics and events. PR & Media Relations Draft press releases, media advisories, and calendar listings Support earned media efforts for product launches, program announcements, and company milestones Support blog, podcast, and other externally facing content Events & Conferences Support the coordination of logistics for events, conferences, and trade shows, including booth materials and promotional assets Prepare conference-specific marketing collateral Provide on-site support as needed Support post-event follow-up including email outreach and recap content Marketing Operations Track campaign performance and maintain marketing workflows across brands Support tooling, reporting, and day-to-day operational tasks Support administrative and organizational systems, including note taking, JIRA Board tracking, task management, and more Administrative & Operational Support Attend weekly Biz Dev Meetings and support note taking and task management Support the School's day-to-day operations, ~10 hours / week. This can vary and includes but is not limited to website updates, class and course organization, and working on projects delegated by the school's Director. Required Skills Graphic design — digital and print, with a portfolio demonstrating range and quality Long-form and short-form writing — ability to shift between clinical/educational and accessible marketing tones Website copywriting — clear, audience-aware, and conversion-conscious Email marketing — end-to-end campaign management including segmentation and performance review PR and media relations — press release writing, media pitching, and outreach management Event and conference coordination Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to self-manage projects across multiple brands simultaneously Required Programs & Tools Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva Campaign Monitor and/or Mailchimp WordPress, Squarespace JIRA Bonus Skills & Experience Kajabi (used for School of Neurotherapy educational programs) Video editing for marketing or educational content AI tools and prompt engineering for content production Background in health, wellness, neuroscience, or clinical fields Basic marketing analytics — interpreting campaign data and reporting on performance, Google Analytics, dashboards, and data visualizations Experience with paid advertising and social media ad creative
Technical Writing Pay:
$24.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 30.0 per week
